Due to his hyperactivity, already as a young boy Endru was constantly making sounds and tones in rhythmic sequences. Despite his mother’s humorous appeals, “Ondra, don’t tick!”, and later graduation from the Drama Department of the Academy of Performing Arts, he persisted in ticking and continued singing, beating and musical self-education while at school. Jams (not meaning the sweet sticky fruit) with other musicians (later members of MakoMako) became his daily baguette. Soon he grew up to be a pure musical improviser and eternal seeker of loops, vocal virtuoso and owner of many priceless prizes – World Champion in looping, Vice-champion in beatboxing in a group, multiple Czech champion in beatboxing, rhythmic magician and above all a happy boy – Ondřej “Endru” Havlík.
